My insulin-pump

I have my insulin-pump of MiniMed since March 2001.I participate active as house-housekeeper and therefore it was very difficult a half hour for me to measure previously and then before, still to splash, because this participates the main-working time.Therefore, I have decided quite short-term to give a try to the insulin-pump My friend had me in it also unterstüzt since he/it itself has pump-bearers in the friend-circle.My parents participate the right skeptisch,obs this however.I was I two weeks in the diabetes-center in Quakenbrück, where was able to make friends with my " new part of body " and I also learned the handling with it. I hardly had problems after it, my sugar-value was as good as never and I felt much freer. The biggest advantage isr for me ,dass I me no longer so often in the abdomen of pikzen what was the purest horror for me must. Of course it was always part this with itself rumzuschleppen unusually initially, but one gets used to it, and it becomes quite normally for one. Also my friend had no problems with it and with the security-strap, it did also nothing if the pump fell from the bag or from the bed. And since my sugar-values changed in the summer, I could alter my installments also without problems what was also leader for me as with the Pen. However after completion of the teachings and beginning of the vocational school, also my blood glucose changed.I go to assess with high into the bed, rises with high values, that climb during the hours even further and then fall against midday so, that nehrs don't splash me I needs: This has not changed unfortunately through the pump. And there is even the problem that I with the maximum basal-installment, that one can input, doesn't manage.There, the borders of the pump participate sedate. But I would advise each diabetic with an ITC to give a try to a pump at least however, it pretends of course - and disadvantages. The continuous belongs certainly carry to the last-named with the catha-ether hear and the high place-consumption of the aids, like needles, Katheder, Baterien,etc. HOWEVER the biggest advantage I ultimately participate much freer than with the Pen this, that it can be coordinated exactly on the body and comes a pancreas at the Nähersten consequently and feels I, me with the pump and would not trade her/it/them without further with the Pen again.
